Changing the cushions is really quite easy. The original earpad or cushion is usually just held in place by the original elasticity. They should be very easily removed from your headphone or headset. Measure the edge-to-edge distance across your existing earpiece to determine the diameter. If you have an oval shaped earpiece, measure both the horizontal and vertical directions; Add those two dimensions together; Then divide by 2; The result will be the average diameter. Circular cushions will fit onto oval earpieces. As they stretch vertically, they will narrow equally in the horizontal direction. That is why we add the width to the height and divide by 2 and use the average diameter to determine which circular shaped cushion will fit. An 80mm circular cushion will easily fit an earpiece that averages up to 73mm in diameter. We publish the range of earpiece sizes that the cushion will easily fit without being too tight or loose. The cushion is made of a leatherette material that will stretch somewhat. The 80mm circular cushion will fit an earpiece that ranges in size between 2 9/16 inches and 2 ⅞ inches in diameter. That is the equivalent to being between 65mm (2.56 inches) and 73mm (2.88 inches) in size. If you have a wireless headphone with a teardrop shaped earpiece that is about 2 ½ inches wide by 3 ¼ inches tall, go with the 80mm teardrop shaped cushions.
