The 752 brass wire has a soft temper, an unpolished (mill) surface, and a standard tolerance, and meets American Society for Testing and Materials International ASTM B206 specifications. The 752 brass alloy (also called nickel silver or German silver) combines formability and strength with corrosion resistance. The material is magnetic and can be cold worked for increased strength and rigidity. The soft temper, also known as annealed, bends readily with minimal force and holds the shape.Composed of copper, nickel, and zinc, 752 brass is a hard, abrasion-resistant metal that resists environmental corrosion.Tensile strength, used to indicate the material’s overall strength, is the peak stress it can withstand before it breaks.
