About 3M 8979 Polyethylene High Performance Duct
Performance Plus Duct Tape 8979 features a unique construction that allows both permanent and temporary applications indoors and outdoors. It is removable with little or no adhesive residue from most opaque surfaces up to six months after application. Tape resists ultraviolet, sunlight and weather to stay on for up to one year without deterioration. Special adhesive sticks immediately and reliably long-term to most surfaces. Use it to protect against light abrasion including overspray from bead blasting, sand blasting and shot peening. Tape protects against grime, UV and weather and then removes cleanly. It is also a good choice for hanging polyethylene drapes for containment activities.
