About 3B Scientific K20 2 Part Digestive System
The 3B Scientific K20 life-size human digestive system model includes the following features in graphic relief: nose, mouth cavity and pharynx, esophagus, gastrointestinal (GI) tract, liver with gall bladder, pancreas, and spleen. The model dissembles into two parts for effective demonstration, and has a removable transverse colon, with an open duodenum, caecum, and rectum for detailed examination. The K20 is mounted on a baseboard for display, and is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classrooms and office settings. The model measures 31.9 x 13.0 x 3.9 inches/81.0 x 33.0 x 10.0cm (H x W x D).
