The maximum wattage for this adapter is 100W. G24q to E26 Adapter Converter for LED Commercial Retro-Fit Applications. If you've got a Hampton Bay Fixture you are probably looking for a GU24 Adapter. GU24 IS DIFFERENT THAN G24Q. WE CARRY BOTH TYPES OF ADAPTERS. THE BALLAST IN YOUR FIXTURE MUST BE REMOVED OR BYPASSED FOR THESE ADAPTERS TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. CONSULT AN ELECTRICIAN IF YOU ARE UNSURE. DO NOT OPERATE A LED BULB WITH A BALLAST IN THE FIXTURE, DOING SO WILL LIKELY DAMAGE THE BULB. ONLY USE WITH LED BULBS. USING THESE ADAPTERS WITH A NON-LED BULB IS A FIRE HAZARD.
