These 22-400 droppers with black rubber bulbs are ideal for measuring out small amounts of liquids, applying oils and creating blends. Rather, they fit 4 oz bottles that specifically are 22/400. The first number refers to the diameter of the closure or bottle opening (22mm) and refers to the nominal diameter measured across the inside of the cap at the opening or the outer diameter of the bottle. The second number represents the GPI thread finish (400 gpi) and refers to the height of the cap and the style of threads on the cap and the container. GPI refers to the Glass Packaging Institute which standardized neck finishes many years ago for both glass and plastic containers. It is important to measure the diameter of the bottle opening and verify that it is approximately 21.5-22mm from thread to thread. This will help ensure that your bottle type is compatible with these droppers.
