In the late stage of growth, it is sensitive to temperature. When the temperature is too high, it will end the growth early. When the temperature is too low, the seeds cannot become fully mature. At 33.8-37.4℉, plants are affected, and at 26.6℉ plants freeze to death. Green soy bean is a short day crop and early maturing variety with limited growth. Requirements for light duration are not strict. More water is required. For seed germination, the water slightly heavier than seeds should be absorbed. In the seedling stage, branching stage, flowering and pods formation stage and pod expansion stage, water holding capacity of soil should be 60-65%, 65-70%, 70-80%, and 70-75%, respectively. The soil quality requirement of green soy bean is not strict. The soil with deep soil layers, good drainage and a lot of calcium and organic matters is preferred. PH value is 6.5.
