About 14g 38 Mm 316L Surgical Steel Straight Barbell Body

Our Forbidden Body Jewelry surgical steel basic straight barbell jewelry can be used for a variety of piercings for men and women. To help our valued customers choose the right jewelry, we'd like to share some information about common piercings and their standard gauges & suggested lengths. The piercings we will go over are tongue, nipple, and various intimate and cartilage piercings. These are suggestions, and we strongly encourage measuring length & confirming personal gauge size to ensure an accurate fit prior to purchase. For the tongue, 14 gauge is the most common size and 5/8 inch (16 mm) is the standard length; 1/2 inch (12 mm) would be short for the tongue and 3/4 inch (19 mm) would be long. For nipple piercings, 14 gauge is the most common gauge size and the bar length ranges from 1/2 inch (12 mm) to 5/8 inch (16 mm). Male intimate piercings typically range from 8 gauge to 14 gauge, with 12 gauge being common. These barbells can be used for male Palang, Ampallang, Frenum & Apadravya piercings. Measuring is required to choose the correct length. Be sure to measure during full engorgement to ensure a proper fit. The most common female intimate piercings include VCH & HCH piercings, and these are usually 14 gauge. As with the male piercings, length is dependent on one's own anatomy, and therefore measuring is required. This jewelry can also be used in the cartilage. The conch, helix, tragus and rook are typically 16 gauge or 18 gauge, and 5/16 inch (8 mm) is the standard length. For these, 1/4 inch (6 mm) would be the shorter option and 3/8 inch (10 mm) would be the longer option. The anti-tragus is usually 16 gauge or 18 gauge, and takes either a 1/4 inch (6 mm) or 5/16 inch (8 mm) bar. Lastly, an industrial piercing is most commonly 14 gauge and the standard bar length is 1 1/2 inches (38 mm). As always, feel free to contact us with any questions you have - we can't wait to hear from you!
