After completely slaying the UK on their last tour that saw them call in at The Great Escape, Stag & Dagger and a superb you ll-claim-you-were-there showing at Brixton s The Windmill, the mighty Tweak Bird announce a new mini-album for release for October 2012. Tweak Bird, brothers, Ashton and Caleb Bird, the now Los Angeles by-the-way-of Southern Illinois-based duo have been making loud, heavy music together for a better part of a decade in various incarnations. Driven by big drums, fuzzed out baritone guitar and tandem spacey vocal melodies, Tweak Bird effortlessly blend raw stoner rock and catchy pop bits to form short joyous bursts aural gratification. Their new mini album Undercover Crops is ready just in time for their upcoming US September/October tour with Melvins Lite where they will be direct support for 45 of the 51 dates on the Melvins Lite 51/51/51 trek. Tweak Bird will again be back to the UK and Europe in January/February 2013. The 7-song Undercover Crops was recorded over a long weekend in June with Toshi Kasai -who alongside Dale Crover, produced and recorded Tweak Bird's previous two releases, 2008's Reservations EP and 2010's self-titled LP.
