DEUTSCH DT series connectors offer field proven reliability and rugged quality. The DT design strengths include optional flange mounting, multi-pin arrangements, and design flexibility. The DT series offers the designer the ability to use multiple size 16 contacts, each with 13 amp continuous capacity, within a single shell. DEUTSCH DT-type wire connectors require a two-stage wedge lock. The wedge lock helps to confirm the correct contact alignment within each connector. The secondary wedge locks are assembled at the mating interface and pressed into place. If by chance the secondary wedge locks are not properly seated during assembly, they will be pressed into the locked position during the mating of the connector.
