Time period: Late Cretaceous 77.5 m.y.a. Named By: Ryan, Russel, & Hartman – 2010.Once considered a Chasmosaurine, Medusaceratops is now classified as a Centrosaurine due to its similarities to Albertaceratops and Wendiceratops. Its generic name, Medusa, is a reference to Greek mythology, while its specific name, Lokii, is from Norse mythology.
