Creator of many successful series, Go Nagai is best-known for his work on his super robots sagas, including Mazinger, Getta Robo, Great Mazinger and Kotestu Jeeg. With an elaborate storyline, more mature and complex characters compared to others of its era, UFO Robot Grendizer was an immediate success and a milestone in Japanese animation.
