About Nam Doc Mai Grafted Mango Tree - Thai Favorite Mango

Description *** shipping to CA & HI with no pot and no soil*** Mango Nam Doc Mai Trees can be grown in all 50 states simply by bringing indoors before temps drop below 40 degrees and providing lots of light. Most tropical fruit trees like Mango Nam Doc Mai Trees are very fast growing and easier to maintain than domestic fruit trees. ** The pictures shown are a reference only to see the size of trees and fruits. This plant will not disappoint you when the tree produces fruits for you. We have the grafted trees and plant them in the containers and leave them in the greenhouse in winter. The trees flowered three times so far, in April, June, and August and gave us tiny fruits. Nam Doc Mai is a premium cultivar introduced to Florida from Thailand in 1973. It is hand down the most sought after of the Asian mangoes and for a good reason. The fruit is firm, sweet, aromatic completely fiber-less, and is born on a tree suitable to a small backyard. The tree is small. The fruit ripens from June to July. The fruit starts with lush green, then turns to the soft yellow skin. The meat of this ultimate cultivar is out of this world. It has no fiber whatsoever. It can both be eaten green or ripe. The seed is very thin. You get much meat out of each fruit. It's sweet and creamy taste. If you have ever taste Nam Doc Mai, you would completely agree that it is truly one of the few top best mangoes the mother nature has to offer.
