About Planer Pal W1226A Mini Planer Pal
We have taken our magnetic technology and developed a knife setting jig for all portable planers with standard 1-7/8 to 2-1/8-inch cutterheads. The Mini Planer Pal allows you to set knives to within .001-inch every time and provide third-hand convenience to minimize the handling of razor sharp blades. Sold in pairs only. Setting planer knives quickly and accurately allows for more time planing and less time setting knives. It also allows you to shift nicked knives to get a perfect cut with precision and accuracy. The Mini Planer Pal has very strong rare earth (Neodymium) magnets that allow the Planer Pal to pull the planer knife up towards the jig and hold it securely in place, thereby keeping ones hands away from freshly sharpened blades and to free to tighten the gib. Precision-engineered and manufactured under strict control from top-quality materials, our Mini Planer Pal planer jigs level the knives of a planer and set them to the correct height above the cutterhead body. A must-have for any shop.
