The Merit Brass stainless steel 316 cast pipe fitting is a 90-degree elbow with female socket weld openings for connecting two pipes. The socket weld elbow has an internal recess on the inside diameter to allow for a smooth bore and better fluid flow. This fitting is made of stainless steel 316, which is higher strength and more corrosion resistant than stainless steel 304 and meets standards MSS SP-114, ANSI B1.20.1, and ASTM A351 for quality assurance.
