SHILAJIT is an exudate that is pressed out of layers of rocks high in the Himalayas and Siberia Mountains. It originates from aged organic matter that was trapped by layers of rock and soil and remained preserved for hundreds of years, gradually transforming into a rich, organic mass. Due to microbial action, pressure and specific high altitude conditions this humus were transformed into a dense, viscous, mineral- and fulvic acid-rich Shilajit. The other portion of Shilajit that is not made of trace minerals, humic and fulvic acids consists of beneficial plant alkaloids, amino acids, healthy fats, resins, waxes and many other natural compounds with healthy nutritional benefits.
