Waxworms (Galleria mellonella) are the perfect treat for your Bearded Dragons, Crested Geckos, Leopard Geckos, Fat Tail Geckos, Tree Frogs, Turtles, Day Geckos, and other small to medium sized pets. A great source of lipids, Waxworms are a fantastic way to fatten up your pet or put some weight on a female after laying eggs or giving birth. Waxworms are like junk food for your reptile or amphibian, not a staple diet. Feed sparingly. Josh's Frogs offers Waxworms in 25, 50, 250, 500, and 1000 count cups. How to Feed: Sift Waxworms from their bedding and feed them to your pet using feeding tongs or a bowl. How to Store: When Josh's Frogs ships Waxworms they are already stored on aspen bedding without food - exactly how you want to keep them. Keep Waxworms in the fridge to prolong their lifespan. As Waxworms go bad, they will become dark in color and eventually turn black and spoil. Discard any black Waxworms. Under ideal conditions, Waxworms should keep for several weeks.
