The Core Cooler is a chest cooling add-on for Ruffwear packs and harnesses that uses natural evaporative cooling to keep dogs cool. It's built with three layers: a wicking outer layer that facilitates evaporation, an absorbent middle layer that holds water for evaporation, and a comfortable inner layer that transfers the cooling effect to your dog. To activate the Core Cooler, soak it in cold water and wring it out before fastening it on your dog. As the water evaporates, the heat around your dog is exchanged for cooler air. The Core Cooler is designed to provide good load dispersion and stability and features hook-and-loop sleeves that allow for easy on and off.
