45.75 inches from end of pin to end of pin (for 48 inch fixtures/retrofits). The Giesemann Actinic Blue emits almost exclusively blue light of wavelengths from 400 - 510 nm, with a maximum at 420 nm. These wavelengths enhance the growth of many coral species in the aquarium, thus ensuring optimum lighting conditions. 54W T5 HO Lamp. Will work in any T5 fixture, as long as you are using bulbs of the same wattage and length as those currently in your fixture. Recommended for reef aquariums. Increases the fluorescence effect of coral and shells.
