THIS SALE IS FOR 4 DP dog proof traps, one powder coated DP setter & one bag Coon Gitter Bait Great for trapping raccoons in areas with high risk of catching dogs. If you are new to trapping raccoons or an experienced raccoon trapper you will not find an easier, more successful raccoon bait to use then our bait. You will love the results you will have using this bait with your dog proof raccoon traps or cage traps. You should be able to set approximately 30 sets using about a 1/2 oz at each set. We have found no other bait that works so easy along with the ease of setting the dog proof traps. Some tips we have found to be helpful in using this bait and dog proof type traps: Use approximately a tablespoon of bait in the trap. We like to sprinkle a few pellets on the ground at the base of the trap. Make certain you set the trap in their travel lane or next to it, Location, Location, Location Learn all you can about raccoons and their habits. Mice can beat the raccoon sometimes to the bait, a small paper cup, aluminum foil, a golf ball, or a piece of corn cob, all work by placing it on top of the trap. Cover the top if mice are eating the bait. the foil, . If the trap and bait gets hit with one of those soaking rains, change the bait, dump the old bait out around the base of the trap, place fresh bait inside. Aluminum foil helps keep rain out. Be careful of set location, think about how far the raccoon can reach while they're in the trap. Set the trap so the raccoon cannot do other damage by crabbing something in their reach while they're in the trap. We ship within 24 hours of receiving the order.
