About the Author Brenda Pollock was born and raised in Madawaska, Maine. She moved to southern Maine where she began her career as a chamber of commerce executive director. Her profession led her to Montreal, Canada, when she accepted the role of VP of sales and marketing in the private aviation industry. Her first published work, HIGH HEELS to HIGH SEAS is her memoir of when she found her courage and left her glossy, corporate lifestyle to live, work, and travel, full time, aboard a 41-foot sailboat. Brenda has lived in Montreal, Nova Scotia, and Florida, and has traveled from port to port across the eastern seaboard.
