About Drip Irrigation Kit,Big Power Automatic Watering
The Onsast drip irrigation kit offers you the ability to water 20 plants (assuming 1 emitter per plant) automatically. All you need to provide is a reservoir of water and an outlet to plug in the pump. 1. It has 50 feet of silicone (soft and flexible) tubing, 20 emitters, 20 T connectors with attached lead in tube (which you connect to the emitter), 20 emitter stands (plug into ground and it holds the emitter), 3 through connectors (splice 2 pieces of tube together), 3 hose plug, 3 4 way connectors (you don’t want to create one long string due to lower pressure at the end of the run – this allows you to create multiple runs), a power supply, timer controller, pump and a hook (use it to hang something). 2. The timer can be set up to water from 1 to 10 times/day, the number of minutes the pump runs for each on time (1 to 99), the day interval (every day=0 to 30) and the “watering volume” when the pump is on (0-9 and F which is the strongest). The controller also allows you to manually turn on/off the watering. 3.Each emitter is like a needle valve. The more you tighten it the more the water flow is reduced. The less it is tightened the more water that is allowed to flow. It is important to understand that you don’t want to set up the emitters in a single line. If you do this then the pressure at the end of the line will be much less than at the beginning. It is better to set up multiple “runs” with a number of emitters on each run. Then depending on how much water you allow to come out of each emitter you can increase the “watering volume”. 4. Onsast did a good job in thinking through all the parts that are being provided. The design they have come up with is elegant in that it helps to give you a lower cost product that does everything a more expensive product would do.
