Whether you are new to trapping or an experienced hunter, setting traps can be difficult and dangerous. Make the process easier and safer with the Redneck Convent Coil Spring Trap Setting Tool Body Trap Tool. 14-inch long body trap setter tongs use a scissor action to create pressure and leverage that compresses the large coil springs on your #50, #60, #160, #120, and #110 conibear traps, beaver traps, and Duke body traps. This, in turn, provides you with better control and it keeps your fingers clear if the trap releases. Caution still needs to be observed when setting traps with the body grip setting tool. We suggest using a safety gripper to hold jaws in place while releasing spring hooks. Trap not included.
