Solar Utility Pro is an advanced PV testing tool rated at 1500V, 40A. This means you'll be able to check multiple strings in parallel saving a lot of time and money on site. The instrument is easy to connect and will give you Open Circuit Voltage (Voc), Short Circuit Current (Isc), Irradiance (W/m2), Ambient Temperature and PV Cell Temperature. With this data our new reporting tool will tell you if the system is performing in line with expected, STC values. If your measured Voc is different to your expected Voc this could indicate -Shorted bypass diodes -Potential induced degradation -Wiring and connection issues If your measured Isc is different to your expected Isc this could indicate -Ground faults -Micro cracks You can also check polarity during the commissioning process. This instrument uses 915MHz frequency for North America.
