The Goodyear Engineered Products Pliovic Black PVC multipurpose air hose assembly is a nonconductive, general-purpose hose manufactured for carrying air, water, and a variety of spray solutions. Its tube and non-marking black cover are both constructed with Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) Class B Pliovic (PVC, polyvinyl chloride) for medium oil resistance, which means that both components will undergo a maximum volume change of +65% and will retain a minimum of 50% of their tensile strength after exposure to oil. This hose is also resistant to weathering, abrasion, moisture, alkalis, and weak acids, and is reinforced with spiral synthetic yarn for the strength necessary to reach and maintain its maximum pressure rating of 300 psi. It is rated with a minimum electrical resistance greater than one (1) megohm per inch of hose length at 1,000V DC, and is capable of functioning effectively at temperatures ranging from -10 to +158 degrees F (-23 to +70 degrees C). This hose comes equipped with two factory-installed brass NPT male couplings, and is suitable for a wide range of industrial, construction, and agricultural applications.
