This lightweight, aluminum folding sluice box incorporates traditional tried and true design aspects in an elongated 50" run out. What makes this unit different and extra handy is the ability to fold up to just 15 inches tall by 12 inches wide, easily fitting into a backpack or 5 gallon bucket that is ideal for all day hikers, adventurers, and seasoned miner 49ers. You can backpack this folding sluice into remote areas anywhere! The sluice box body is designed to lock rigidly in place when the sluice is unfolded. This takes care of the most common complaint about similar cheaper models in that they would often fold up when you tried to pick them up out of the stream. The gold sluice box carry strap is removable and extends to 54 inches so that it can be used both as a hand or shoulder strap. This allows the carry strap to be easily removed when the sluice is in action.
