About UDC Parts Mower Drive Belt GX20006 / Kevlar Cord

UDC Mower Belt GX20006 are specially constructed to deliver high performance. Belts are designed to withstand the high temperatures produced on lawn and garden equipment, with consistently good performance and extreme wear resistance, as well as good handling when exposed to oil and dust. Layer 1: HEAVY-DUTY WRAPPING COVER A robust wrapping cover protects the belt construction, improves grip and resists abrasion, dust and other external aggressors, including mineral oil, ozone and UV. Layer 3: KEVLAR TENSILE CORD A layer of specially-treated high tensile Kevlar cords, securely encapsulated with special fibre compound. This delivers higher dynamic load, greater flexibility and lower stretch. Layer 6: NATURAL RUBBER BODY Natural rubber (NR) has a long fatigue life and high strength. NR has acceptable temperature resistance (+90 °C) and can maintain flexibility down to -50 °C and provides good vibration absorption. Natural Rubber and High-Strength Kevlar cord construction Belts are designed and constructed with a robust fabric cover that is extremely tough and resistant to wear and cracking, thanks to its specially compounded natural outer rubber impregnation. There is excellent adhesion to both tensile members and other fabrics, and the outer cover has a lowered coefficient which shows extreme resistance to belt turnover or roll. High-strength Kevlar cords are positioned to provide excellent protection from misaligned drives and in all applications where the belt is used as a clutch.
