About The Andersons DuoCide Professional-Grade Lawn
DuoCide Insect Control provides a preventive and curative treatment to control a variety of common insect pests, including ticks, grubs, fire ants, mole crickets, European crane flies and more. Similar in cost to other single-mode insecticides, the product combines carbaryl and bifenthrin into a unique multi-mode formula that enhances performance both above and below the surface. DuoCide’s performance is confirmed by multiple university research studies, and is formulated on the Dispersible Granular (DG) Pro carrier for easy spreading, low visibility and maximum performance. With DG Technology, particles are more rapidly and efficiently broken down. Upon contact with water, each DG granule disperses into thousands of micro particles that move through the turf canopy into the root zone. Please see label for complete list of pests. Application Low Rate - 2 LBS/1,000 SQ FT Medium Rate - 4 LBS/1,000 SQ FT High Rate - 8 LBS/1,000 SQ FT The maximum application rate for kill of ticks is 1.15 LBS/1,000 SQ FT Will only kill pests present at the time of application. Pest must be directly contacted to be effective. Product must be watered in immediately after application to lawns. Restrictions Do not apply more than 4 times per year to lawns. The minimum reapplication interval to lawns is 7 days. Do not enter or allow others to enter the treated area (except those involved in the watering-in) until the watering-in is completed and the area has dried.
