This rain chain adapter kit moves the drainage point approximately 2.75 inches away from the gutter. First, place the rectangular installation piece over the gutter hole. The gutter hole must be at least 2.3 inches wide to fit the adapter piece. Once the rectangular installation piece is over the gutter hole, place the adapter unit through the hole.
