About AeroGarden Spicy Chili Pepper Variety Seed Pod Kit
Three different chilies for three levels of heat! The Chili Pepper Seed Pod Kit comes with everything you'll need to grow fresh peppers in your AeroGarden. Pepper plants are beautiful and the abundant harvests add spice to any dish. These fast growing varieties are specially chosen to produce lots of great tasting and colorful peppers in your AeroGarden, any time of year! The Chili Pepper Seed Kit features three different pepper varieties with three levels of heat; mildly spicy Jalapeno Peppers, medium Red Fire Chilies, and tiny but fiery Purple Super Hots. Jalapenos rate between 2,500 - 8,000 SHU, and Purple Super Hots between 140,000 - 160,000 SHU. SHU is the Scoville Heat Unit which is a measurement of capsaicin (the stuff that makes peppers hot!)
