Three-phase sensed for superior voltage regulation
The Stamford AVR MX321 is one of the most advanced AVRs Stamford has on offer. Used to stabilize the generator’s voltage as the load changes, the MX321 offers numerous benefits for absolute voltage monitoring and regulation. As a three-phase sensed AVR, it forms part of the excitation system for brush-less generators. The excitation power is obtained from the three-phase permanent magnet generator, and this reduces radio frequency interference and protects the AVR control circuits from non-linear loads. The AVR Stamford MX321 has a short circuit limiter, DWELL and over voltage adjustment. The DWELL feature is used when the alternator is connected to a turbo charged engine that has a restricted block load acceptance. Manufactured in the UK, the Stamford MX321 is highly used on LV634, HC634 and P7 machines ranging from 700 kw to 2200 kw. The AVR senses the voltage in the generator winding and manages the excitation to preserve the output voltage of the generator within the specified limits. This compensates for the speed, load, temperature and power of the main generator. As authorized Stamford distributors, our MX321 AVR is original and genuine. It’s important to be wary of fake Chinese clones that will void the warranty of your generator if they are installed. You can upgrade to the digital DM110 for better regulation and configuration.
