Proper alkalinity levels in your pool help reduce pool maintenance. The granulated formula is simple to apply and dissolves fast. Test and balance your pool weekly to maintain clear water, longer lasting equipment, and comfortable swimming. Maintaining proper pH of 7. 2 to 7. 6 is not only easy, but can save your summer. If pH is too high, swimmers will suffer from red eyes and itchy skin, chlorine cannot disinfect water effectively and water becomes cloudy.
