TotalBoat Krypton is a premium, copper-free, marine antifouling paint for boats that provides superior single-season protection in salt, fresh, and brackish waters. Powerful, dual-biocide formula contains the most potent concentration of copper-free components, plus zinc to repel barnacles, zebra mussels, slime, algae, and weeds – without harming delicate marine ecosystems. No copper means Krypton’s Red, Blue, Green, Black & White colors are brighter than traditional bottom paints containing cuprous oxide. It also means Krypton is an ideal paint for aluminum boats because it won't cause galvanic corrosion. It's safe to apply to aluminum hulls and underwater metals like trim tabs, outdrives and props. With its hybrid copolymer formula, there’s no maximum dry time to launch - haul your boat at the end of the season, paint it prior to winter storage, and be ready to launch first thing in the spring! During the season, you can haul and relaunch without losing effectiveness. Krypton is ideal for use on fiberglass, aluminum, wood, and steel vessels of all types and sizes. You can even apply it right over existing paints as long as the surface is in good condition. Krypton is easy to apply by brushing, rolling, or spraying, and 1-2 coats are all that’s needed on the bottom, though you may want to apply an extra coat to areas that get more wear, like leading edges of keel and skegs. Available in quarts and gallons; smaller quart sizes are usually enough for outdrives, underwater metals, and trim tabs. This product is intended for antifouling applications on boats, below the waterline only. It is not intended for household use.
