About Monteverde Dragon Tree Fountain Pen (blue/brown) - M
The Socotra dragon tree or dragon blood tree is a dragon tree native to the Socotra archipelago, governed by the Republic of Yemen and located by the Arabian Sea. It has a unique appearance, with an upturned, densely-packed crown resembling the shape of an umbrella. This evergreen species is named after its dark red adhesive resin, which is known as "dragon's blood". Monteverde USA® Dragon Tree is a substantial in size writing instrument that features distinctive red and blue resin designs, unified to create unique pattern combinations. Red signifies “Dragon Blood” resin and blue for the vast skyline the trees tower to. A solid walnut ring with polished chrome accents and clip adorn the cap. The barrel is tastefully engraved with the Monteverde USA® and Trees of the World logos, complementing the overall look. The Dragon Tree is available in fountain pen and ballpoint modes. The fountain pen is equipped with a stainless steel JoWo #6 nib engraved with the Monteverde USA® logo and fills via a standard cartridge or converter (included). The nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub, and Omniflex point sizes. The twist-action ballpoint pen accepts standard Monteverde USA® refills P1 and P4 (Parker® style). Each Monteverde USA® pen features a lifetime warranty and is sold in a luxurious gift box.
