PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: 5925 VHB tape (0.025 inches thickness) is delivering a permanent bonding two sided adhesive. It provides high strength and long-term durability. It consists of a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. It provides an extraordinarily strong double sided foam tape and offers design flexibility with its viscoelasticity.

APPLICATION: This tapes consists of a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. This provides an extraordinarily strong double sided foam tape that adheres to a broad range of high surface energy (HSE) substrates, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, acrylic, polycarbonate and painted or sealed wood and concrete. REMINDER: WIPE OR SPRAY ADHESIVE-PROMOTER WILL INCREASE THE BONDING BEFORE STICK THE TAPE.

ADVANTAGE: Virtually invisible fastening keeps surfaces smooth. Can replace mechanical fasteners (rivets, welds, screws) or liquid adhesives. Eliminate drilling, grinding, refinishing, screwing, welding and associated clean-up. Creates a permanent seal against water, moisture and more.

INSTALLATION: Clean the surface with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol first; after application, the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. At room temperature, approximately 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. Ideal tape application is accomplished when temperature is between 70° and 100°F, warm up the adhesive for cold weather.

PEEL BACKING & REMOVABLE: Use a knife to cut out the backing film a little bit or pinch and stretch a corner of the adhesive until the backing liner lifts from the tape for easier liner removal. Remove the tape with adhesive remover, spray the adhesive remover around the bonding surface, scrap the tape and residue with plastic scrapper for a neat removal.
