When it’s time to upgrade to serious 2-way professional studio monitors, you’re ready for the Eris E5 Bundle. With woven composite low-frequency transducers, low-mass silk-dome tweeters, responsive class AB amplification, and professional acoustic-adjustment controls, the compact Eris E5 represents an outstanding value In its class. It includes RF shielding, current-output limiting, over-temperature protection, and subsonic protection, and unlike comparably priced studio monitors, it has controls for simulating different listening environments and flattening frequency response to enable accurate mixing. Mixes that sound good on other playback systems, on headphones, on TV commercial soundtracks, and even on your kid brother’s cheap computer speakers. Eris gives you the tools you need (and an easy to understand manual) so that you can acoustically tune your monitors to your room and your musical genre, hear what you've been missing, and produce better mixes. The E5 begins with a front-ported enclosure made of vinyl-laminated MDF. It features a 5.25" Kevlar low-frequency driver mated with a 45W, Class-AB amplifier. For the highs, Eris employs a 1" silk-dome tweeter powered by a 35W, Class-AB amplifier. The E5 outputs a clean 102 dB peak SPL. Its frequency response is rated at 64 Hz to 22 kHz. It comes with IsoAcoustics ISO-155 is a pair of acoustic isolation stands offering improved tonal and spatial accuracy for your speakers. Plus 10-pack of 0.5 x 6" Touch Fastener Straps provides a cost-effective way to bundle and organize cables.
