RS-4 is a foot activated power strip, 8-Outlet, 15 Amp, UL Listed Surge Protector, Power Conditioner, Four step Multi-Mode Power Sequencer, user adjustable on and off delay from 1 to 15 second, 20 gauge fully welded steel enclosure, 15 foot long power cord, for Guitar, Bass, Keyboards and P.A.The RS-4, looks like a power strip, but it is really a state of art, microprocessor based, multimode power sequencer with EMI/RFI noise filtering and power conditioning, and is a UL listed surge protector, and much more. Previously, pro audio power sequencers were rack mounted and limited to large professional audio performances. Designed by musicians and roadie tested, the RS-4 is transportable and can be used anywhere onstage, in the studio, or in the home. Use the RS-4 with all your gear, guitar, bass, keyboards, and P.A. Systems.The golden rule is to Always turn your main amp on last, and turn it off first to avoid the potentially destructive loud POP. The RS-4 simply does this automatically, powering all your equipment up or down in the proper sequence, every time. Because the RS-4 is microprocessor based, you can independently adjust on and off delay sequence from 1-15 seconds and/or choose one of three new power sequencer modes of operation. (Instant On Mode, Receptacle One Always On Mode, or Timer Mode) In addition to eliminating that POP , the RS-4's power sequencer spreads the initial inrush current of your gear over four steps allowing you to power up far more gear more safely than ever before on a single 15 amp circuit. Consolidating all your gear into a RS-4 will lower noise and reduce exposure to ground loops.RS-4 is Listed to UL Standard UL1449-3 for surge protection with 1935 joules.
