Paul StanleyIbanez is excited to introduce the PS1CM Paul Stanley signature model, which offers a painstaking replica of the unique and legendary customized Ibanez Iceman that the famed KISS frontman first used back in the late '70s. Made in Japan, the PS1CM is crafted from a mahogany body, a maple cap, and the unforgettable Cracked Mirror top. The Cracked Mirror top on the PS1CM recreates the look of the original with stunning accuracy, and each and every single acrylic piece used has been hand-reproduced by talented Japanese craftsmen. The PS 3-piece maple set-in neck sports a 24.75 scale length and a smooth neck heel for added comfort when you're playing up the lead range. The ebony fingerboard carries a specially-designed half bone/half brass nut and houses 22 medium that have undergone Ibanez's exclusive Prestige fret edge treatment for a smooth fretting-hand feel and superb playability. Holding true to the original, the bound fingerboard boasts acrylic block inlays with diagonal lines in gorgeous abalone and an acrylic inlay at the end of the 'board that features the guitarists name in black.The PS1CM comes loaded up with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups: a '59 model in the neck position and a hotter Custom 5 in the bridge position. Featuring Alnico 5 magnets, these PAF-style pickups will deliver all of the classic warmth and tonal balance of those coveted vintage humbuckers.
