About Ibanez MAR10LMM Mario Camarena Signature Electric
CHON is a band that has quickly grown from playing local shows in their hometown of San Diego, to earning a spot on the Billboard top 200 and playing on tours with contemporary giants such as Animals As Leaders and Circa Survive. The easiest way to categorize CHON would be "instrumental rock", but that categorization would not do the band justice. With their debut full-length album 'Grow', CHON incorporated many genres including prog, rock and jazz, and featured lightning quick guitar playing, staccato drumming and floaty melodies, inventing a sound that's fresh, exciting and wholly their own. CHON is a band that has truly changed the game when it comes to instrumental guitar-driven music, and they've only just begun. Ibanez closely worked with Mario Camarena, one half of the dynamic guitar duo of CHON, for many years and have worked closely with him to develop a new signature model with him, the MAR10. The guitar is highly inspired by the Ibanez AZ model, and it also features some of Mario's personal touches to make it perfectly designed for his versatile playing style.
