About Washburn Americana Series B16K-D 5 String Banjo
Washburn has been building banjos since the late 1800S. These instruments were considered some of the finest of their day. This heritage is not lost in the instruments we handcraft today. Pros & amateurs alike choose a Washburn for its outstanding tone, build & value. The Americana Series b16k-d is a 5 string banjo with a mahogany resonator and rim, and one piece flange. It features a maple neck, 11" Die cast tension hoop, bell brass tone ring, clamshell tailpiece, standard chrome armrest, all 5 geared Planetary tuners and separate coordinator rods. Comes strung with D’Addario strings. Beautiful Tobacco Sunburst gloss finish.
