If you’re really going to travel and you love to play guitar – this is the one. THE DETAILS: The advantage of real carbon fiber construction is it’s proven stability and durability - in low temperatures the body won’t get brittle or crack, and in high temperatures it won’t warp. No worries about fingerboards de-laminating, or bridges coming off. Carbon fiber fabric construction provides a purer transfer of energy and significantly longer sustain as well. The Patented Soundboard Design of Journey Instruments’ carbon fiber soundboards employ an offset sound hole design with a unidirectional carbon fiber weave and a patented dampening panel for an amazing wood-like tone with impressive bass response. The back and sides are made from a carbon fiber twill weave with a proprietary dampening layup. The Wedge design also has a lower shoulder/bout depth that’s deeper than a dreadnought, allowing the smaller body size to deliver great volume and booming bass. The wedge along with the rib bevel, arm bevel, and scoopaway make this the most comfortable acoustic bass you’ll ever play! The Travel case even has a TSA compliant laptop fold-out panel which can be scanned by airport security without having to separately remove a laptop. The case has handles on the side and top, hideaway backpack straps, and an additional pocket for a large 17” laptop behind the straps.
