510104708 1:12 Alfa Romeo 8C/2300 1931-33 The Alfa Romeo 8C is considered one of the most famous sports cars of the 1930s. The name of the car is derived from the engine: a 2,336cc 8 cylinder engine with a compressor that became an icon in the automotive scene at the time. The 8C reflected the latest state of the art and was characterised by an exceptional road position and reliability. He also achieved significant success on numerous international racetracks. The 8C also combines the name of the famous pilot Tazio Nuvolari from Mantova. His greatest successes included victory at the Targa Florio in 1931 and the triumph at the Grand Prix of Italy. The latter also brought the two-seater his nickname "Monza". The race variant of the 8C also served as a bluebreak for a production series of almost 200 vehicles for the street market. On the occasion of Alfa Romeo 110th anniversary in 2020, Italeri presents the 8C of the 1930s now as a model kit in 1:12 scale.
