Although you may have never heard of Percy Flowers, he was the largest moonshiner of all time. Moonshining has been a long-standing tradition in America, and the stories of legendary moonshiners such as Amos Owens, Marvin "Popcorn" Sutton, Jim Tom Hedrick, Mahalia “Big Haley” Mullins, and racing icon Junior Johnson have become embedded in Western North Carolina folklore.
