They are safe up to 450F and -40F. Stretch lids can be used as food covers to store left over food in refrigerators, covers for leftover drinks, soup cans, leftover vegetables or fruits. They stretch(up to 30% of lid size) to fit containers of different shapes.AIR TIGHT SEAL: Suction Lids and stretch lids create airtight seal and keep food fresh longer. For suction lids, press gently at the center to create air-tight seal, lift from edge of cover to remove lid. For stretch lids, pull using edge tabs to stretch and cover containers, lift edge tab to remove lid. EASY TO MAINTAIN AND STORE: The lids are easy to clean, just hand wash with soap water or place them in dishwasher. For storage, suction lids have a hole to hang them on a hook. Stretch lids are stackable and don't take up much space. While using the suction lids as covers while cooking, they can get hot. Use tongs to lift edge of covers. Stretch lids are not recommended for use in microwave. Wash lids with warm soap water before first use.
