Colorful tiles with white jumbo Braille codes in blocks separated by a white horizontal line and the sighted character on the top and the Braille on the bottom. Each piece is hand sanded to ensure the codes are smooth to the touch. Letters A through Z, numbers 0 - 9, and the number sign are included. There are 38 pieces for English in the S, M and L versions. The XL has 28 pieces. They come in three sizes: small - about 2 inches long by 1 inch wide (4.5 cm x 2 cm) medium - about 2 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inch wide (6.35 cm x 3.18 cm) large - about 3 inches long by 1 1/2 inch wide (7.6 cm x 3.8 cm) extra large - about 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/4 inch wide (6.35 cm x 3.18 cm) The XL version is the largest we make and is quite large covering close to an adult's hand. There are rounded ends on the tiles and there aren't any sharp corners on the tile. They are all solid plastic pieces printed with ABS plastic. They also float.
