The food set consists of an apple, a pear, a lemon, an orange, a banana, a cucumber, a mushroom, a carrot, a knife, and a tray. Children pretend to cut the fruits and veggies with the knife. Velcro holds the halves together and children are delighted when they cut the pieces in two with the safe wooden knife and hear the sounds of the Velcro coming apart. The 10 wood pieces in this set are size for preschool hands: tray measures 5.1 x 9.8 x 2.0 inches.
