Heat to 100-115F Set voltage on rectifier to 4-8 volts Plating process steps: 1) Polish item to be plated 2) Remove polish by ultrasonic cleaning 3) Rinse well in DI or distilled water 4) Electro-clean item 1 minute, 5 volts, 125F 5) Rinse in 3 x 1Lt beakers containing DI or distilled water 6) Acid activation rinse for 10 seconds 7) Rinse in 3 x 1Lt beakers containing DI or distilled water 8) 18Kt Gold plate 30-45 seconds 9) Rinse in 3 x 1Lt beakers containing DI or distilled water 10) Steam or hot air dry item
