Easy Installation：① 1" Universal Float Valve has 1" internal threads for connecting. You will need a water hose with an external thread or mounting bracket. ② Use plumber's tape on the threads of hose or mounting bracket and screw on the Float Valve. Tighten by hand only. Do not use plumbing compound. ③ Turn the water source to full volume. ④ The valve will close 1 1/2"-2" up from the bottom of the valve depending on the pressure.
