EZRODI Flow Restrictor RO Restrictor RO Flow Features

  • Where do you install the flow restrictor?- It goes on the waste water line out of the membrane.

  • Purpose-The Flow restrictor is installed on the drain line. It works with the Reverse Osmosis membrane to keep a perfect ratio of water flow to the drain and filtered water production flow. When waste water jam into the restrictor there will be no waste water outflow and can cause RO membrane plugging. When the waste water flow is too big, the flow restrictor can’t produce drinking water.

  • Technology-Connect, disconnect and reconnect in seconds without tools;Instant push-fit connection and leak tight seal,No scale build up improves performance and equipment lifespan,Superior flow characteristics

  • Application-Food Quality,Suitable for potable liquid, intermittent hot water, water treatment and purification applications. For connecting OD tubing sizes. Makes installations quick and easy.

  • Compatibility-Compatible with most reverse osmosis systems in the market;1/4 inch quick connect

  • Push-fit technology makes connecting tubing quick and easy. Fittings are manufactured in white POM with food grade NBR O-ring. These fittings have been developed to satisfy the filtered pure water market and wide range of applications.

About EZRODI Flow Restrictor RO Restrictor RO Flow

Flow restriction is required for all reverse osmosis systems at the drain line to keep a standard waste water flow, and is recommended to be replaced each time the membrane is being replaced. The restrictor must be sized according to the capacity of the membrane. Flow restrictors are essential to a properly functioning RO system. Be sure to have the appropriate flow restrictor for the membrane you have. If you decide to change your membrane to a higher or lower GPD membrane, you must also replace the flow restrictor to correspond with the membrane. The ratio of product water to waster water is about 1:2 or 1:4;For every 1 gallon of RO water produced, the waste water is 2 gallons or 4 gallons 300CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 300 ml/min, It is designed for 45GPD reverse osmosis membrane. 450CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 450 ml/min, It is designed for 75GPD reverse osmosis membrane 550CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 550 ml/min, It is designed for 100 GPD reverse osmosis membrane 650CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 650 ml/min, It is designed for 90 GPD to 150GPD reverse osmosis membrane 800CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 800 ml/min, It is designed for 200GPD reverse osmosis membrane 1200CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 1200 ml/min, It is designed for 300 GPD reverse osmosis membrane 1500CC Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 1500 ml/min, It is designed for 400GPD-800GPD reverse osmosis membrane
