In 1960 the company name was formally changed to Amprobe Instrument Corporation. The Amprobe IR608A Infrared Thermometer has a simple point and press function for reading temperature measurements quickly and easily. It has a laser pointer for easy targeting. This product is a quick and effective diagnostic tool for identifying problems in a wide variety of applications like HVAC/R, fire safety and protection, industrial maintenance automotive and quality control. The IR608A is robust yet lightweight with a solid ergonomic design. The "pistol grip design" was designed for the users comfort. It is small enough to fit in your pocket when your not using it, that way it doesn't get lost. Also, the laser was sighted in so that you get acurate targeting. It has been CE EN60825 certified for Class II.
